Role
eCommerce Marketing Coordinator

From candle houses to figural mugs, Bluesky Clayworks is known for their original design and limited drops with a strong fanbase of collectors. What was particularly challenging about this project was trying to balance Brand guidelines and the Bluesky Clayworks identity. This was an opportunity to expand my previous frameworks of creativity and work within a team to observe and participate in a growing eCommerce website.

Objective and Outcomes

The goal with Bluesky Clayworks was to improve brand presence and customer awareness of company's popular licensed products such as Miffy, Hello Kitty and Friends, and Strawberry Shortcake. These licenses were a top priority receiving the most interactions and best performance in sales and on social media. Under the marketing manager, I helped with ideation and execution of reels and eCommerce banners. Capitalizing on excitement, we posted everyday to consistently grow our presence and awareness of new products. Garnering over 5,000 likes and 150,000 views, helping produce them has taught me the difference lighting, prop use, and pacing makes in creating an appealing visual.

In addition to filming reels, taking new product photos of finalized samples and updating eCommerce assets was crucial in completing sales. I captured and edited over 300 photos weekly. For creative strategy, I conducted competitor research on brands like PopMart, Pottery Barn, and Disney to understand what people found trendy and explore branding concepts for email marketing.
